For years, elite movement analytics have been reserved for the top one percent.

Here at Cutout, we set out to change this. The value of movement analytics in everyday training is undeniable, yet access has long been restricted by high costs and impractical setups. Cutout removes these barriers, introducing the first technology of its kind to accurately measure movement analytics front-on using nothing more than an iPhone camera.

Using this technology, athletes and coaches gain access to both short- and long-term performance insights, including velocity, depth, repetition time, rep count, consistency, power output, balance, predicted RPE, and progression. These metrics are delivered alongside a visual overlay on your original footage, clearly illustrating movement paths and execution consistency.

A step by step overview of how Cutout works.

Step 1.

    Select your exercise and position your phone in front of you. For accurate results, ensure the device is angled between 80 and 90 degrees, as indicated on the screen.

Step 2.

    Press record and set up for your exercise. Ensure your entire body remains in frame throughout the movement.

Step 3.

    Crop the video from the start of your first repetition to the end of your final repetition.

Step 4.

    Press upload to have your video processed by our servers and delivered back to you before your next set.

Step 5.

    Integrate these metrics into your training to achieve consistent, measurable performance gains.
